Archetype Distillery is ready to showcase the transformation of a 102-year-old building into a visual piece of art and functional business space while also preserving some of its iconic history. The now 2-story building houses an operating distillery and tasting room, as well as an event center and host gallery. The modern design and equipment add elegance and sophistication to meetings, seminars, showings, demonstrations, receptions, galas, or any memorable events.

Michael Chapyak is the President and Master Distiller of Archetype. His desire to perfect his craft has sent him throughout the world in search of techniques and skills that he has brought to bear on crafting Archangel Vodka and Archrival Gin. Building upon the knowledge of the rich tradition of distilling gained from working and learning from distillers in both the US and UK, Michael has used a mix of traditional still techniques and specialized laboratory equipment to create products simply not found anywhere else. Michael and his team are excited to share their expertise and products with the community.

Michael is joined by internationally awarded Master Mixologist and Sommelier of Wine, Spirits and Sake, Simon Nicolian. As the Director of Mixology and Education, Simon leads the Archetype Tasting Room by personally curating the menu and smithing “signature tipples,” which range from truly classic vodka and gin cocktails to unique showcases of the distillery’s spirits utilizing molecular techniques, homemade distillates & aromatics, and from-scratch tonics. Using the depth and breadth of his knowledge, Simon will also be hosting a number of classes focusing on both the composition and history of spirits and cocktails.

Guests will get a first-hand look at the distillery, premier event center, and tasting room. They will be experiencing some of Archetype Distillery’s signature cocktails made with Archangel Vodka and Archrival Gin.
Saturday, February 24th, 2018, Archetype will be have its Grand Opening. Doors will be open to the public at 4:30pm at 119 S Broadway, Denver, Colorado, 80209. We encourage everyone to come and view the distillery, premier event center, and tasting room, and experience signature cocktails with Archangel Vodka and Archrival Gin.
